She was able to walk from her room to the common area with my arm around her for support. After eating a few bites of lunch, she was able to walk back to the room with minor assistance.
The biggest obstacle right now is Mom's attitude. She is tired of being in the hospital. I do not blame her, but we need to keep her motivated and focused on recovering.
Please send her your well wishes either on this blog or via mail.
Here is a picture of Mom with Johnny from about two weeks ago.

Ramona,
ReplyDeleteYou are doing so well and accomplishing so much. Keep on keeping on! We are meeting next week to choose the Hunt Memorial Scholarship. Will let you know who it is and more about that student later in the month.
Grace, peace and strength!
Ann
Mona,
ReplyDeleteI can't believe all of the progress you have made in such a short time! I regularly check the blog for updates from Stephen, I can't wait to hear more and hopefully see some pictures of how you're improving! Its cherry blossom time in D.C., I will try to get out and take some pictures to send to you.
Love,
Amanda
Mona, you're smile could brighten anyone's day!! I'm so glad to hear you are doing so well. As you would tell me, just be patient and you will be out of there as soon as you are ready. Give Johnny a big hug for me, he is a wonderful man and you are both very lucky to have found each other. I miss everyone and wish I could be there to help and can't wait to talk to you again.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Ginny
